In practice

Monday, 7:00 am · toolbox

The floor board is on the wall screen. Two jobs running, one late from Friday. The production manager drags it to the second lathe and the promise date holds.

10:30 am · machine 3

An operator scans the job pack to start. The BOM has already flagged the flange stock is short, so purchasing knew on Friday.

3:45 pm · office

The last work order completes. The order page offers Move to QC, then Invoiced, then Shipped. The customer watches it happen in their portal.
