Can I try it before booking a demo?
Yes. The sandbox is a read-only copy of NE Vault for a fictional CNC job shop, Hallam Engineering: no sign-up, no card, and you can switch between what the shop's staff see and what one of their customers sees in the portal. Do I need to know what ERP or MRP means to use this?
No. The screens are named after what you do — Quotes, Orders, Stock, Jobs — not after the acronyms. We use the acronyms on this site so you recognise them when a supplier or an accountant does, and we explain each one in plain words where it comes up.
Will my customers actually use a portal?
They use it for the two things they already ring you about: reordering a part they have had before, and checking where an order is. Their first login is a link in an email; the portal shows only their parts. Customers who never want to log in can stay fully managed by you — nothing forces them in.
Is my customers' CAD safe?
Each customer's files sit in their own vault and are served on links that expire in minutes. Every download is written to an audit log. Staff sign-in supports two-factor authentication, and data is stored in Australia.
Where is my data stored, and can I leave?
In Australia, on infrastructure we do not share with other tenants' files. Your data stays yours: export it at any time, and if you cancel we keep it for 90 days so you can take it with you.
